TERMS & CONDITION
When you reserve and pay for a villa entirely through InSicily we guarantee the villa will be available for the client upon arrival in accordance to these "Terms & Conditions". If for some unforeseen reason the villa is not available to you because it is either destroyed, uninhabitable due to structural damage or essential equipment and fixtures such as heating, electrical systems, plumbing, hot water being out of operation, or rented to another party by error, or is uninhabitable because it is not in working order per these "Terms & Conditions", InSicily will immediately attempt to find another villa of similar qualities, cost and size. Failing this, a refund will be provided to the client.
PLEASE NOTE: Houses in Italy are allotted a limited amount of electricity (3 - 6 kilowatts). Although it happens very seldom, using too many appliances at the same time will shut off the house breaker. This does not mean that there has been a power failure, only that a breaker in the house has been triggered. It needs to be switched back on. Similar to the U.S. and other European countries, the panel is inside the house. Please be careful to limited the simultaneous use of electrical appliances. InSicily di Giovanni Matta will not provide a refund if electricity is loss temporarily due to a breaker being triggered.
Liability For Amenities & Non Essential Items
InSicily will not be held liable nor provide refund, partial or otherwise for amenities not provided for reasons outside of our control. "Amenities" included for example are dishwasher, washing machines, private telephones and incidental appliances. Amenities do not include heat, water, electricity. The villa descriptions are accurate and updated as currently as possible given timely updates from the owners of the villas. InSicily will have sole discretion to determine what amenities are considered to be "essential" to the operation of the villas and apartments.
PLEASE NOTE: Where pools are provided, the general season for pools to be opened begins June 1 and ends September 30. Generally, neither fans or air conditioning are provided in any of our villas or apartments. Clothes washers are provided only on occasion. By law villa owners are to keep the heat off from June 1 through October 15. Some owners have a way around this through independent heat, but this is not guaranteed in any case.
InSicily acts only as agent for the homeowners or their assigns for all accommodations listed. Under no circumstance shall InSicily be responsible for any personal loss by individuals renting the accommodations represented by InSicily, expenses, claims, or injury, direct or indirect, caused or incurred before, during or after the party's stay in the accommodations represented InSicily including attorney's fees. InSicily will not be held liable and will be otherwise rendered harmless for any events arising in law as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s) or change(s) in the provision of accommodations or services provided by InSicily for reasons of military action, revolutions and acts of God. You agree to indemnify and hold InSicily harmless for any claims arising from a violation of the Terms & Conditions of this agreement or of any third party claims. InSicily solely has the full discretion to refuse or discontinue service to any person or agent, and/or rescind any contract for accommodations of guest services. InSicily will not be held liable under any circumstances, including substitutions, to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services as described in these "Terms & Conditions." These "Terms & Conditions" are the conditions by which will govern the reservations of all accommodations where InSicily acts as the representative and agent, unless otherwise provided. InSicily will have sole discretion to determine choice of forum and law provisions.
Reservations & Payments
Payment of the applicable deposit amount, must be received and approved by InSicily di Giovanni Matta, unless otherwise directed, before a confirmation will be issued. No grace periods are granted. Final payment, consisting of the remainder of the balance must be received by InSicily at least 60 days prior to guest arrival - except where the rules and obligations of deposit for the program is specified differently. Failure to make final payment on a timely basis will be subject to cancellation of the reservation. InSicily di Giovanni Matta will accept and hold a tentative reservation for seven days. Unless otherwise stated, deposit of 50% is required for reservation. Balance due 60 days prior to arrival date.
In Sicily is not accepting payment by credit card at this time.
If you have to cancel, exchanging your week for a future week is possible, subject to availability and management acceptance. There may be additional charges for price increase.
