	Villa Scopello is lovely little beach-house with a nice garden. This is the first year the owners, a nice couple, have decided to rent their house. It is a simple house but very liveable and most of all, it is few steps away from the pebble beach. The house is totally independant, even if just under it there is an apartment with its own entrance garden that belongs to the owner´s brother. It has view of the sea and the outdoor areas feature a big porticato with table and chairs for your al-fresco meal, a big bbq for grilling fresh fish and sun umbrellas for your afternoon relax! There also is a covered parking spot where you can park your car without let it burning under the Sicilian sun. The interior are modest but comfortable. Function precedes form here, but the location and quietness are absolutely perfect. Through the garden you´ll reach the entrance to the house. The entrance is directly in the living/dining area where you also find the open-kitchen with all the necessities. From the living room a french door leads to a balcony with table and chairs with great seaview. On the other side a short aisle introduces a sitting room with a sofabed good for one kid, the full bathroom with shower and the double bedroom with a window that offers a view of a big palmtree and the Mediterranean sea. The house has a telephone line and several fans. By this summer, in rear part of the garden, will be ready an extra independant bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower bringing the number of total people allowed up to 4.

	The Villa is located near the village of Scopello, about 50 kilometers west from Palermo. Scopello is a lovely mediaeval village that really worth a visit. Also it is the only place where you can taste "Pani cunzatu". To have this experience you must must go to the only bakery of the village: here you can have it just out from the oven, then very slowly a lady will cut it and fill it with fresh tomato, anchovy, fresh local cheese, salt, pepper, oregan and olive oil... unforgettable! If you still have energy, you can go to "Lo Zingaro" nature reserve. It is a nice trekking path that for the exercised ones, can take to Capo S.Vito with a four hours walk. Capo San Vito is famous for two things: the most beautiful stretch of white beach of Sicily and the Cous-cous. Every year in September there is a world contest for the best coucous. Our choice is the restaurant "Il Pocho". Other interesting excursions are: Segesta with the best kept Greek temple and Erice, the mediaeval town on the hill. The closest town is Castellamare del golfo at about six kilometers where you can find everything you may need.
